Okay, okay… I’ll make some calls…

I actually took about 2 hours today to make some cold calls. I don’t do this enough and I need to beef it up some. I don’t hate making cold calls, but I must admit it’s my least favorite marketing chore.

I made about 30 calls… left about 23 voicemails, got 2 that were no longer in business.

Ah, but…

…those 5 with whom I actually spoke requested more information from me.

5 out of 30… that’s better ROI than direct marketing!
