Is There Anything Good About the Current Recession?

I tend to notice things that change. I don’t why I do, but I do. I have noticed that since the “recession” began, I have seen fewer and fewer street beggars in my regular travels. While I don’t live in a major metropolis, neither am I in Podunk. Street beggars have dwindled over the past several months to almost zero.

Am I the only one who’s noticed this?
