"By and large, language is a tool for concealing the truth. " - George Carlin

Party on,

I want to personally congratulate all the Voicey 2008 winners and nominees.  I recently heard the show on voices.com and all are deeply deserving indeed.

All right, let's see.  March Madness is upon us.  As is Spring.  We also celebrate St. Patrick's Day in March.  I'm sure there are several other good things about March, too.  Spring is when things come alive again.  Meadows fill with rich-colored flowers and greenery.  Birds begin mating and nesting.  Human spirit is lifted as the cold and clouds seem to find somewhere else to dwell for a while.

News

Recently one of our spy satellites lost its' orbit and we were apparently left with no choice but to obliterate it from outer space.  The satellite was positioned 130 miles above the earth's surface and we fired a missile that struck the target dead on at a combined speed (the satellite and the missile, like adding up the speed of both vehicles involved in a head-on collision) of... are you ready?... 22,000 miles per hour.  Whew!  Yet, we cannot seem to find Osama Bin Laden or do anything about rising fuel prices.
